now up on archive.org…

The Barbiero-Byrd-Ghaphery performance of 21 March is now up on archive.org, on Rhizome’s new page. There’ll be lots more great performances by a variety of artists posted there in the future, so keep checking back.

two reviews

The Modern Folk Music of America blog has a nice write-up on Not One Nor, which was released a few years ago on the Zeromoon label. And, Music Addiction has a fine review of Nostos (in Italian).

very interesting…

Happy to see that after 30 x 12 (for C. Reider) was included in Acts of Silence‘s list of 2014’s interesting releases. A varied and stimulating list indeed.

a recommended release

Delighted to see the inclusion of Augmented Landscapes in C. Reider‘s 2014 end-of-year list of recommended Netlabel releases. And a mention of our own collaboration after 30 x 12 (for C. Reider). A Happy New Year/Buon Anno/Glückliches Neues Jahr/Bonne Année to All

a rationale review

The venerable Gapplegate Classical-Modern Music Review has a nice review of The Rationale for a Space Telescope. Collaborating with If, Bwana both virtually and live was one of the highlights of the year nearly gone by.

The NVS Trio–Gary Rouzer (Amptext) on prepared cello and objects; Jeff Surak on prepared zither and objects; me on prepared double bass, objects and granular synth app–recorded at Last Resort Studio in Silver Spring on Saturday.
