Italian bassist Michele Bondesan performs Sound Row No. 14, an installment in the Sound Rows series of verbal scores that was written for him. It’s a wonderful realization that brings the words on the page to life in vivid sounds.
Michele Bondesan is a fine young Italian double bassist conversant with contemporary composed music as well as with free improvisation. He’s recently recorded some graphic scores of mine, including two that were composed for him and dedicated to him. Ten Lines for Michele Bondesan is one of them. More to follow in the coming weeks.
