Great thanks to Jon Davis and Expose for a perceptive review of Transparent Points on Four Axes.
In 1921, Futurist musicians Mario Bartoccini and Aldo Mantia wrote a manifesto extolling free improvisation, foreshadowing a turn in music that really wouldn’t come to fruition for another few decades. In the new Perfect Sound Forever I’ve translated their manifesto and written some commentary on it.
Congratulations to Avant Music News for publishing its 1000th review today. And another big number: this week also saw AMN’s 30,000th post go up. It’s a pleasure to be a part of this.
